Adrienne founded Studio Black Ink in 2016 with a vision to create a boutique design firm rooted in the Midwest with a distinctly broader point of view. With a degree in Interior Architecture, experience working directly under classically trained architects, and nearly two decades across residential and commercial design, she brings a deep understanding of architecture, materiality and the details that shape how a space is experienced.
Today, Studio Black Ink is a small, highly collaborative team creating thoughtful, enduring interiors. Drawing from the disciplines of architecture, art and design, the studio pairs a refined material sensibility with a respect for context, craftsmanship and restraint. The result is work that feels layered and collected, balancing warmth with a quiet sense of permanence.
